Daily Pursuit is a personal, invite-only athletic-performance and AI-coaching app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email greg@ventureval.co.nz.
We use your data solely to run the app for you: to build and adapt your training plan, estimate daily readiness and recovery, track your progress, and provide AI coaching.
The AI coaching and daily brief are generated using Anthropic's Claude models. To produce a response, relevant training and health context is sent to Anthropic's API. We do not use your data to train AI models, and under Anthropic's API terms your data is not used to train theirs.
Your data is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database and served via Vercel. Each user's data is isolated by row-level security so one account cannot read another's. The access tokens for connected services (such as Strava and Oura) are encrypted at rest.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. Your data is processed only by the providers needed to operate the app — Supabase (database and hosting), Vercel (hosting), and Anthropic (AI coaching) — and only for that purpose. We may disclose information if required by law.
When you connect a service, that provider's own privacy policy also applies to the data it holds — including Strava, Hevy, Apple Health, and Oura. Our infrastructure and AI providers (Supabase, Vercel, Anthropic) maintain their own policies as well.
Daily Pursuit is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected here.
